Got a similar problem with the modified 302 GMC in my 37 Chevy truck.The 302 damper I'm using is like a Chevy V-8,an iron ring bonded to a hub with rubber,the outer ring had come loose and spun around.I talked to a small time damper rebuilder,he'll re do it,but I'm not sure it's the best way. Performance dampers,ATI,Fluiddamper small block models will fit with some mods,but the pulley situation and damper size is a problem,no room otherwords.
