Yeah, Tudorman, welcome aboard. I recently replaced the kingpins and all on my '40 GMC. The brass bushings tapped right in and were sized to the new kingpins. Are you getting your parts locally at NAPA or something? I would go with one of the vendors like American Classic or Jim Carter, etc. The kit comes complete and there's no headache.
