I'm at a loss to figure out why the 350 in my 53 3100 is hard to start when its hot. It's not over heating, about 190, but acts like its coming up on compression "turns over slow". I've tried to retard the timing but it don't seem to help. The 350 does have a lumpy cam, don't know what the duration is. Never a problem when its cold. Battery is charged and cables are clean/tight. Thanks, in advance. Hey just wanted thank everyone for thier input, I never would have figured it out, until the starter gave up.
