It's going to depend on how your transmission is wired internally.
I have some Powerpoint slides I can send you that show how the TCI #37600 and the Bowtie Overdrives circuits are wired. If you have the stock GM harness inside the trans, I have some pictures of how the various way 80's Monte Carlos were wired that I could scan and send. It may be easier to just trace the wiring while you have the pan off. You are going to change the fluid and filter before putting a used trans into service, right?
