I know we've been through this before, but I'm a big fan of JB Weld, and have used it to fix a lot of things...Had some stripped out screw holes for my inside visors, filled with JB, drilled with small hole,retapped with original screws...problem solved..Anyway, If there is a way to seal the area that is causing a problem, let it sit for awhile, putting some sealer on that pipe nipple, and giving it another try, that's what I would do..Just my 1 1/2 cents..Steve
