If you are replacing the wiring with original style harnesses then be sure to take lots of pictures before you tear out the old wiring. This will help you to see how the replacement goes in.

If you are using aftermarket universal harnesses then that is a slightly different thing but pics of how the old wiring was in the truck will still help. If nothing else it will give you ideas of how to run things.

Like everyone else has said, take your time. You will have a lot less headaches in the long run if you go slowly on the electrical system. Rushing things is where you end up with the dreaded electrical gremlins.
