Go to newer model V6 the 4.2. It is based on the 350 block, minus two cylinders. Mine is in a 94 astro van, has 335K miles on it and still going, and still pushing the van along at 70 on the highway at 19 mpg. The astro van is comprable insize/weight etc. of a 46. Maybe look into that for your old bolt. Look at Brad's 41-46 if you want to see an application for an earlier model. Feel your pain. No bee like a frebeee.
