There should be nothing else holding it. Try grabbing the very rear of the trans and shaking it. Its heavy, be ready to catch it. I cut the heads off of a couple of long 1/2" bolts and threaded them into the two top holes to use as guides. This helps the trans come straight back a couple of inches so you can get it loose without it falling on the floor.
