On the other side I prefer the stock column with my PS conversion.
It's pretty simple to cut off and rework the end to accept the steering shaft.
My reasons are; the original column and wheel looks.. headscratch .. well.. "original", I never tilt the column even in vehicles that have factory tilt, and I like the Signal-Stat 900 switch just fine.
