| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 20 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 20 | Hello all, I have a 1955 1st series chevy 3100 with a 4 Speed and I found a L6 6 Cyl. 250 chevy engine, Casting number #3877178. this engine fits GM cars and Trucks 1962-1978. My questions is would my bell housing off my 55 fit?, and would I have to change the front mounting arrangement? Anybody make a swap like this? Thanks in advance for you help.
