Hey Roy,
I got a 235 from a 54' as well. Picts would not help you as the foot feed was as twisted as a piece of bailn' wire on a fence post. I have added a link to my 2X2 install. The bell crank is what came on the motor. I changed the linkage rod to 5/16" and put L & R heim joints on to help ease adjustment.
For the foot feed I put a heim on it as well but had to spot weld a larger bracket on the backside of the pedal because of the 5/16 heim. A 1/4" rod might not require that mod. The one that came on the truck had just a small 90 on it with a washer and cotter pin (bailing wire).
Hope this helps. I tried to keep with the original idea of mechanical linkage.
