For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 39 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 39 | my speedometer and odometer were not working when i purchased my truck. i finally got around to replacing the cable but still no action! upon further inspection the part that the cable threads onto the tranny seems to be theculprit. the gears spin but the rod or whateve it is that goes into the tranny is broken. its the same type that is at the end of the cable . its like a tang with a bump on one side that has a mating slot in the tranny. hard to explain. anyone know what that part is and how to get another one. thankss | | |
