For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 46 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 46 | I am doing a 48 chevy truck and have considered the mustang 2, front clip options for better ride and handling but after much consideration I have decided to go with a dropped axle and remove 2 of the front leaves. I will be using a power steering kit from CPP. If I were you and seeing how you have bent your springs I would give Posies rod shop a call and order a set of their dual flex springs they sell them for about $340. Also, you could order or find a set of new or used stock springs unmodified and remove 2 leaves. The stock springs were meant to support a one ton truck combine this with your straightening that must be one harsh ride. | | |
