shipwright, I checked the decode but it came up unknown. This engine also has a rebuild tag on it that says Automotive Engine (or engineering)with the stock #. This is in a 37 pickup and I only got one glance at it. I didn't get to check the usual things to determine or rule out anything and the guy called me with the engine serial #. I'm just trying to do some home work.
