For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 29 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 29 | Hey Gang, I went and looked at a 1950 GMC 600 COE and you guessed it...I now own this truck. It's pretty solid with a super straight grille. It's powered with a 318 and has a single speed rearend. It has a long wheelbase and the frame has never been cut.The strangest thing about this truck and something I'm a little disappointed about,is that the back of the cab is blank. It does not have any rear windows.I've looked at pictures of other Fat Cab COE's and they all have a pair of rear windows. However, I could not see any windows in Spanky's Fat Cab but the photos are a little tough to tell for sure. The previous owner said that it was factory.Does anyone know why it would be? Oh yeah, nearly forgot, the truck does sport the corner windows.I'll post pics as soon as I can.
