I was looking at using a 56 Bel air tank. Has anyone put one of these in? The sending unit is 30 ohms and the tank and sending unit are available after market. The filler is on the left hand side at the rear of the tank. Dimensions are 25" 1/4" x 25" x 8" 1/4" Rounded Corners which looks like it would tuck under the spare tire carrier. The tanks are about $150 and the sending unit about $50 new. The hanging straps are also available and could probably be made to work. The main thing is it has a sending unit that will work with my gauge.
