i found fittings at NAPA that are male 3/8 npt on one side and female 3/8 (tube ? with an inverted flare) to connect the fuel lines to the filter.

i need a fitting 90deg that will let me go from female -8an to 3/8 line.

So what do you really need?
Will a 90 degree male 3/8" NPT to female 1/2" tube (same as inverted flare) work to connect fuel filter to line from tank?
then to connect this 1/2" line to the tank use a tube sleeve and nut with a 37 degree single flare directly to the male -8 port on the tank?
