Builder, only the 4 x 4 S-10's got the Torsion Bar.
That is correct. The full size 4x4 trucks from '88-'07 (Classic only) also use the torsion bar suspension. However, they share no parts with the '60-'62, the design has its roots in the Toronado/El Dorado front suspension.
