I bought one of the red- skyscraper looking farm truck jacks- Never had a problem, and I always use jack stands if it is going to be jacked up more than 5 minutes, or I am going anywhere under- even if just for a quick peak- My life is worth the extra few minutes to set up correctly.(yours probably is too . . . .
