Yeah they will ride rough, but to make sure everything thing is in order have your front-end completely checked out by someone who specializes in big trucks, if you haven't already.
Some trucks out there just take hard hits. I can even remember advoiding certain rough roads in my '64 C-30.
As mentioned, Radials will help even tho I still like the old Bias-ply tires.
