I've been to Mongos garage, Inliners site and a Mustang site, also did Google Search.... no help.

I purchased what was said to be a T5 out of a 1985 Camaro V8. Of course the ID tag wasn't with it (I thought it would be a paper/plastic sticker with the 1352-XXX). I noticed the 10 spline input shaft and it had a T/O bearing on it. The input shaft looked just like the 4 speeds I had on the 60's. The shifter was located on end of the tailshaft, so I thought that would make sense for the location on an F-body. So I planked my money down and thought I did good.

Today, I was giving it a real close look over and found a metal tag bolted to a bracket which uses the bolts of the tailshaft. Located next to a 2 prong switch, probably the backup lights and or lockout.

The tag has a number 100001 and under that is 13-38 047. What is it????

Thanks.
