The only way to combat that is to get the law righter to install a protection that would NOT allow it to be applied to autos Prior to 75 for example then move the year up every once in a blue moon.
The goal is to get rid of the 1980's and up. There is alot of issues because of the computer hardware braking down. People are NOT replacing these parts and the car can become unsafe. or air bags going off because of voltage spikes. This is happening more and more and causing accidents.
