3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy Tim Newton, according to my 1949 truck data book 17" wheels were the standard for a 3/4 ton truck, I think the 15" split rims came along latter, hope that helps.
