Bolter's
I own a White 2000(photo in the alternate gallery)and need some advice. It currently runs a 6-130A engine rated at 130 HP.It's mated to a Clark 205V 5 sp. direct and a Timken H-140 single sp 16,000 GVW rearend with a 6.17 ratio.I'm looking for a little better road speed than the screamin 45-50 mph I get now.
First off,I have aquired a 6-200A engine rated at 200 HP.This engine is a Reo engine as is the 6-130A.Same block but an overall better and more modern engine. So, my question is would a Clark OD tranny be my answer or would an aux be better? Also,I would love a 2 sp rear. The option was available with the Timkin H-340 with the same slow 6.17 ratio in high.Should I look for a later rear with a higher ratio?
THANKS!!
