If you swap to any other axle, you will have 6 lugs in the back and 8 in the front. You will have to carry two spares or a cell phone. Switching to a 1/2 ton front axle will cure that and will also get rid of those 8-hole safety rims, but then you still have the expense of the Patricks gears. Find you a good 4.10 rear carrier.
