#48529 08/02/2005 5:19 PM | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,029 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,029 | Sometimes distributor clearance is more of a problem than the back of the block, as is steering clearance to the exhaust manifolds, so you may need more than just the block in place to check for clearances. Sometimes the engine can be moved toward the passenger side for exhaust clearance. This will have no effect on the driveline if the engine remains parallel to the centerline.
