I have a '41 Suburban, and need a source for the correct repro woven hood lace with the wire in the center. Lots of repro places out there sell it, but they either don't have pictures on their site, or the ones they show aren't detailed well enough to determine if it's correct. Everyone's order help line is seemingly staffed by ex Mc Donalds employees who don't know the difference between hood lace and and a shoe lace, so I hesitate to take their word for it. I know there are tons of variations out there sold, but I'd rather get the right one the first time out. Thanks!
