i am about to start the bodywork on my 62...i have spent hours going through the forum on bodywork and it's enough to make my head spin..never painted a car before...i havent even bought a spray gun yet,won't be able to get one till after christmas. but in the meantime i can strip the fenders down to bare metal. so my question is can i just coat them with spraycan primer until i get some epoxy primer on them? or maybe some of the acid washes i have read about.
