| | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 77 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 77 | slide show of bracket rework This is my progress on upgrading the 1946 MC to a dual chamber. We were in the process of bleeding when the bleeder valve stripped out in the driver's side front wheel cylinder. Once we get a new one to replace it, we should be good to go. The master cylinder is a non power MC for the 67 to 72 chevy trucks drum/drum. It is supposed to have the residual valves built in(I forgot to check inside the ports before it was piped to confirm.) We are going to try it without a proportioning valve to start. If it doesn't work to satisfaction we will add one later. I tried to document everything below the photos but things can be missed. Hopefully this helps others out there. Oh the truck is using the original drum brakes all the way around. | | |
