| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | depends on how you define "too loud" and what you'll use the truck for .... originally there was a jute/felt underlay beneath the rubber mat - it was great for soaking up moisture and holding it long enuff to rot the floor - some folks use the same thing, some use more modern sound deadening stuff, some use the foil backed bubble stuff, some use carpet ... some don't use anything
