I just bought an NOS ignition switch, GM part # 1997733.
This one is slightly different than my original. This one is a little shorter with a smaller diameter lock cylinder, and has 3 terminals on the back. My original only has 2.
Im guessing that GM superceded the replacements at one time.
Has anyone ever come accros this before?
The Part number stamped on my original reads:1997(rust pit)3.
Im assuming it's the same number.
