| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 121 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 121 | I rewired ( without a kit) quite a few parts of the the wiring on my 66. There's probably more wires inside the drivers door on my Jeep Liberty than there is on the entire 66 truck.
I don't see why rewiring a complete truck ( with a quality -truck specific kit) would take anyone longer that a long day or two.
If you need to keep driving the truck you can break it down into parts- underhood, then tail lites, then in-cab. Good aftermarket kits should plug into factory harness connectors.
