The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Long shaft or short shaft Water pump 48 1/2 ton

Here's the result from today's visit. I have 8 1/2 inches to 9 inches between the water outlet where the water pump comes in contact and the radiator.

My mechanics plan is to remove the engine and cut the motor mounts off and move them back 2 1/2 inches. Problem solved.

Now I can use my long shaft water pump and march pulleys and brackets.
