I had my stock axle dropped and put lowering blocks in the rear. Putting lowering blocks in the front is dangerous due to the multi-directional force from the steering. Flipping the axle over the springs creates steering problems and only leaves about an inch travel between the axle and the oil pan. Mono leafs or the dropped axle is the best way to go.
