My 64 GMC has an aftermarket (as best I can tell) ps unit. All is good except there is a huge amount of play in the wheel (like 12:00 -2:00 or 12:00-10:00 so to speak) before the unit seems to engage. How can I get this tightened up? Any advice appreciated.
Reminds me of the 52 Olds I traded for once. The play in the wheel was more like 12:00 to 6:00 and I had to drive it 25 miles home. The guy should have thrown in a roll of toilet paper!
