Your not getting enough gas to keep up with the demand. After 9 years of sitting the carb probably needs a rebuild anyway. It is a cheap and easy rebuild. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/Has a manual on the carb and the kit comes with pictures. My money is on the fuel pump. good luck. | | | |
