atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	HRL, I have never seen the procedure you recommend..is it special? Why not do the same thing on #1 which is more handy to reach and has the added benefit (maybe) of eyeballing the timing marks on the crank pulley. I'm sure there is something here I don't understand. Stuart
