Mostly? I'd be careful here. (1)These are not valve covers and (2)suppose they are placed there for strength? Frankly I doubt if any one of us really knows and our opinions may prove costly.
Why not ask the manufacturer?
I never said they were valve covers,I was just stateing the process and did not tell him to grind away either because it was COSTLY to to my friend.If you reread my post I am trying steer him away from removing them by suggesting alternate routes to go.
