Thanks for all the great imput guys. I currrently have a 4 speed and was already considering changing the rear ratio to a 3.55 I'm probably going to rebuild my 4 speed to avoid changing the pedal and emergency brake mounts but the 3 speed syncro is also a good thought. I do occasionally like to creep around in the granny and would probably even use it more with the 3.55 rear. Trying to decide if I'm ready to give up my granny. Does anyone know if helical cut gears could at least be used in the old straight gear 4 speed? Thanks for the ideas.
