| | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 388 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 388 | I made some measurements a couple of years ago when I put my 1954 261 together, and (if I can read my notes) the top of the oil is about 4-7/8" below the block flange. I was not trying to make precise measurements, so I would not bet a lot on the number.
