For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 48 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2006 Posts: 48 | I have a GMC 283EC. On the right side the rear leaf springs seem to be collapsed when I take a measurement. On previous attempts the grease would not go into the pin...even after cleaning it out. I'm not sure if the springs are collapsed or that the pin is badly worn...Help....I can get another set of springs...I just need to know what the best way of taking it off and putting the others on.
Matt
