You might want to try the Nason line from Dupont.
I used single stage Nason on a 51 chevy truck and it is quite inexpensive and user friendly.
They scanned a sample of the old paint(Seacrest green) and came up with a formula that was a dead on match to the original paint.
It also sands and polishes really well if needed.
