on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 5 | Hello everyone. I'm a retired GI thats attending the auto mechancis class at my local community tech college. I'm rebuilding the 235 engine in my 59 Chev 1/2 ton. The crank is out of tolerance. But that's easy, I'm sending that to be ground. But the cam lobes are worn and starting to pit on the edges. I called the supplier my instructor usually uses. They can get me a new cam, but it doesn't come with the followers or lifters. The guy said they haven't made those lifters in about 5 years. Could anyone recommend a trusted and good quality source of a new cam with followers and lifters? | | |
