Teflon (the ingredient that makes Slick50 "work") is NOT designed or approved for use as a liquid lubricant additive. DuPont (who makes Teflon) does not approve it's use and even started refusing to sell Teflon to the makers of Slick50. Slick50 took them to court and sued them and the judge ruled that since DuPont was selling the Teflon as a bulk ingredient they had no say over what it could or could not be used for.
So, like it or not, DuPont says it's bad.... And they ought to know.
