Trouble with chemical stripping is getting every bit of it back off. It will get into places you cannot imagine and wait for the new paint to show up.
Media blasting has a simular draw back, but atleast something not found with it will not attack the new paint.
I guess thats why chemicals on auto are best dipped.
It hurts me when i see someone using abbrasive disks and grinders on car bodies.
