ndnchf Member N Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 170 Fredericksburg, Virginia	I'm getting ready to put a '55 235 into my 1940 GMC with original 4 speed and bellhousing. I think any 55-62 235 will work. There are several good 216 to 235 swap articles on the net that explain it pretty well. In your case, it should be a straight bolt in job.
