Picked up a 55 2nd series last week. Original Ca. truck, big back window, with the 235 and 3 on the tree that went to Cincinatti, Okanagan Falls B.C. and I aquired it out of Calgary Alberta. Fairly original except paint color. Drove it home last week and all was going well until the drivers front wheel decided to leave the axle. I thought it was a wheel bearing and had a block to go untill I was stopped for the night. Guess I should have stopped earlier. Tagged the fender on the departure and had to replace 6 studs but managed to get it the rest of the way home. Looking for parts to make it closer to stock. Had a 56 many years ago and always wanted another. Also have a Deuce Roadster that is more of a project so the 55 will fill the gap until its on the road.
