The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors Interior Door latch weird?

I have a 66gmc and my passenger side door handle dose not seem to lift the latch far enough to open the door from the inside,But you can open from the outside.And yes if you push it down it will lock the door.Anyone know why this is.Please let me know.
