Looks like your shocks are straight up and down and positioned very close to the leaf springs. If I remember right, the originals were at angle. Do you think the angle seen on the original even matters?
I thought about leaving the top mounts where they are and weld on the ones from Pete and Jake’s directly below. My only concern here is that the upper mounts were pretty close to the pumpkin.
I have no idea about suspensions, however, the more I think about it I have a feeling that I should move the whole set up out towards the leaf springs like you did.
Any more advice for a rookie?
