Love them ? That would be hard to do. Step on the gas to go faster and the wipers go slower.
I'm thinking maybe thats why we have electric wipers today.
I can understand your desire to keep them, but only you know where and when you are going to need them and if the vacuum ones will do the job for your needs.
You might consider Rain-X to help see through the glass. It works good and I have used it for 30 plus years, but I have noticed at times it produces a little more wiper drag but then that varies from car to car. Overall its a big help to see especially on side glass....no wipers there.
